As the next term approaches, simply upload your most current want list to see which books to keep and which to send back when students bring them in from rental. You’ll see a price to retain any book that was rented. For all that you don’t keep, simply ship them to Sidewalk. All shipments come to one place, the Sidewalk warehouse, and we do the sorting and shipment to vendors who won based on the rebate list they initially provided. No individual vendor sorting is done on your end. We reconcile everything.
All rental activity is settled at the end of the term. If you choose to retain the majority of books that rented, you may owe a balance. If not, additional payment is made to you to make you whole after the rental fee which you’ve already collected and kept. Sidewalk performs all reconciliation and then charges the Cloud Rental inventory participant. So as a store, you only deal with Sidewalk, no different from today.
